It Started with a Simple Idea

On a trip to North Carolina’s Outer Banks, I noticed two yellow posts standing in the sand.

They weren’t anything special — but for some reason, they stuck with me.

The next weekend, while floating in our pool, that image came back to mind. I started thinking about how most yard games are fun but one-dimensional — they don’t evolve, and they don’t always invite everyone in.

So I decided to build something different.

A Game Comes to Life

The first version of RingerRinger™ was made from PVC pipe and a handful of plastic rings — nothing fancy, just an idea brought to life.

My wife was skeptical at first, but before long, she was playing again and again.

Then my 80-year-old mom joined in.

That’s when I realized this wasn’t just about a game.

It was about how play bridges generations — how it connects people who might not otherwise find common ground, and how it turns moments into memories.
